AeroSolfd final event

The sessions provided a solid overview of current research aimed at tackling urban air pollution, specifically focusing on creating a practical roadmap for cleaner cities.

On behalf of VERA project, Athanasios Dimaratos shared some updates. The focus there remains on the practical side of things: retrofitting the existing European vehicle and rail fleet with newer tailpipe aftertreatment and brake technologies. These were a productive few days of technical exchange between partners of the two projects.
