RTR 2026

The RTR Conference was held on 10-12 of February 2026, providing a vital forum to discuss the latest developments in road transport research activities and the continued progress of the VERA project. Our contributions focused on the technical viability of tailpipe and brake retrofit solutions and their essential role in mitigating vehicle emissions to meet urban air quality and public health objectives.

Athanasios Dimaratos from Laboratory of Applied Thermodynamics presented the project’s latest findings, outlining the evidence-based advancements achieved thus far. These results provide a framework for research and industrial stakeholders, as well as for policymakers to make informed, data-driven decisions that will impact urban air quality and public health for years to come.
